We strive to maintain communication with and actively represent Zero Six Eight to as many stakeholder communities as possible. It is our desire to champion both discussion and action in the area of restorative justice.
By hosting, sponsoring, and attending various events, including advocacy events, networking events, service projects, conferences, etc we keep the discussion alive.
Our largest community engagement activity to date is Failure:Lab, an advocacy event produced by Zero Six Eight and hosted in Pittsburgh. Failure:Lab showcases the personal failure stories of prominent individuals in our community, past speakers have included business leaders, politicians, pastors, etc.
We encourages individuals to confront the crushing stigma of failure that society imposes, because for an ex-offender, it is their greatest failure that often defines and limits employment opportunity.
